The MonPlexTM design uses a non-welded, "floating" plate pack contained within a rigid housing. This design permits thermal expansion and contraction with minimal stress on the unit’s components. A patented compression strip assembly provides a tight metal-to-metal seal. This design reduces stress and extends the life of the MonPlexTM unit.
Uniquely constructed plates, nested together with directional ribs providing support throughout the plate pack, form the MonPlexTM gas flow passages. Combine this with the flexibility in materials of construction and flow patterns, and MonPlexTM is the right choice for your gas-to-gas heat transfer application.
